A Legendary History

Fritz Meyer founded Roamer as a watchmaker with just six employees in Solothurn, initially manufacturing cylindrical escapements. Seven years later, the company had already grown to 60 employees at its Swiss location. A few years later, in 1904, Roamer began producing watches and movements. The number of employees quickly grew to over 250, with more than 1 million pieces produced, and in 1945, the company successfully expanded into the USA.

Merging Past and Present

Today, everything still comes from a single source, with production and all individual steps monitored and controlled in-house in Switzerland. Each watch must pass numerous tests before it reaches the customer’s wrist. Harmonious designs and robust technology make Roamer watches precise and timeless models – suitable for any occasion. Their collections also feature automatic models as well as quartz watches. The entire range is vast, from sporty chronographs like the Power Chrono and diver watches (Deep Sea) to dress watches like the Primeline and elegant watches for couples.
